TITLE: PROJECT LEAD
UNIT: GLOBAL HEALTH SECURITY ADVOCACY
BACKGROUND/ PURPOSE
- CISDI has been actively involved in COVID-19 response advocacy at the national level. That is strongly associated with the importance of global health security, including the issue of vaccine equity and sustainable financing for health security, more than ever.
- This project will work on global health security advocacy by building analytical evidence, stakeholders engagement, and amplifying the findings to create the appropriate policy momentum
- The Project Lead is responsible to oversee and manage the whole process of the project, starting from planning, implementation up to monitoring, evaluation and other follow up activities, to ensure the achievement of the goals
ACTIVITIES/DELIVERABLES
The Project Lead is expected to work for 5 days per week (7 hours from 9 AM to 5
PM). Key activities include:
Project management and oversight
- Oversee and manage projects on day-to-day basis to ensure timeliness of project plan and milestones
- Managing human resources, budget, timeline and work plan under TC project, ensuring the project is executed successfully and completed within time frames
Coordination and engagement
- Coordinating team members and ensuring the project is implemented according to the agreed timeline
- Liaising with donors, partners and relevant stakeholders actively engaging, maintaining relationship, and working together with the targeted stakeholders
- Working in coordination with the other related projects across divisions at CISDI
Analytical work
- conducting scoping review to build available evidence
- conducting FGD and IDI with key informants to search for further information and findings
Management and other supports
- Working in coordination with CISDI management to uphold good governance of the project and organization vision and mission
- Other work/support for other projects/divisions deemed necessary by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of master’s degree in international relations, global health or other relevant fields
- Minimum of 5 years of project management and advocacy experience
- Demonstrates experiences or familiarity with health security issues and policieson national, regional, and global level demonstrates great knowledge of G20 and global health security issues
- Experience in project/program management, including logframe development, budget planning, and resource management
- Experience of managing collaborative development projects with fixed deadlines
- Possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, attention to details, stakeholder and crisis management
- Strong communications skills – verbal, written and presentation in Bahasa and English, with experience in presenting and working with international and national stakeholders
- Experience working with international and national organizations in tobacco control
